FIJI Building Designers Association (FBDA) president Shailendra Mudliar says there is a need for local designers in the country to have an upskill of knowledge about the current designs in place in the market.
He made these comments while speaking to this newspaper during their annual general meeting at the Holiday Inn in Suva today.
“In Fiji, we have one standard design for the buildings, now we want to train these entire people to deliver better knowledge to give us creative designs something different from others,” Mr Mudliar said.
More than 50 members are part of the AGM today.
