THE three assessors have retired behind closed doors a while ago to deliberate in the Fiji Times sedition trial.
High Court judge Justice Thushara Rajasinghe while addressing the assessors at the High Court in Suva in his summing up this afternoon told them to determine the facts of the case based on the evidence that was presented in court.
Justice Rajasinghe said the evidence was what was said from the witness box and documents and exhibits that were presented in the courtroom.
He told the assessors that the court only requires their opinions and not the reasons of the opinion.
