Museum day to educate public on importance of culture

AN open day  at the Fiji Museum in Suva today was not only to educate children and youths but to educate the general public that they should be able to know the importance of their culture.

Museum Manager Education Installation and Promotion Vereniko Nalio  made this comment at the culmination of the open day.

Mr Nalio said the open day will had showcased the roles and responsibilities also to promote the rich culture and heritage of Fiji through gallery exhibitions.

“This open day has really helped us boost the artifacts and the history of Fiji” he said.

The theme for the open day was ‘Museums Building Resilience Communities together’
