Lands Department thanks mothers

THE Ministry of Lands recognised mothers in a Mother’s Day celebration held at the Department of Mineral Resource office in Nabua, Suva this afternoon.

While speaking at the celebration Permanent Secretary for Lands and Mineral Resources Malakai Finau commended the women working in the ministry saying they played a vital role in leadership and technical positions within the ministry.

The celebration also recognised the recent achievement by Director Lands, Dr Raijeli Taga who won the Executive Woman of the Year Award- Public Sector at the 2018 Women in Business awards.
