FLYING Fijian Vereniki Goneva was awarded with the top award for his thrilling performance for his Newcastle Falcons side in the Aviva Premiership.
Goneva, 34, won the Player of the Season, Players’ Player of the Season and the Try of the Season awards.
Goneva swept the board at Newcastle Falcons’ Big Bash awards night, sponsored by Pulman Volkswagen,
The Fijian winger won the Ken Lockerbie Trophy for Player of the Season at a well-attended Kingston Park dinner, having been shortlisted alongside (in no particular order) Michael Young, Calum Green and Kyle Cooper.”
