TWO more discoveries of parcels allegedly containing cocaine have been made.

The two discoveries were made on August 30, according to Fijian Police.

Fiji Police spokesperson Ana Naisoro said the first was found along a bay in Taveuni on Vanua Levu where a man who was out at sea noticed a brown covered parcel similar to earlier discoveries.

She said that parcel had been handed over to the Taveuni Police Station.

In the second finding, she said a similar brown package was found on an island in the Lau group.

On September 5, six parcels were found in the Yasawa group while a day later, another discovery was made in the same group when another parcel was discovered and handed over to Police.

Members of the public are requested to call on the toll free number 3318 529 if they have any information or may have made similar discoveries of cocaine or know if anyone is selling the illicit substance.
