THE Fiji Red Cross Society officially launched its National Street Appeal at their National Office in Suva today.

Fiji Red Cross director general Filipe Nainoca said it was that time of the month again where the Fiji Red Cross would step up with the help of the public to assist the most vulnerable in society.

The annual appeal for Fiji Red Cross happens every year.

This year, it will be from this month, starting from Saturday, September 1 until September 29.

“So our 16 branches throughout Fiji will be shaking cans and will be looking for you as members of the public to donate to the Fiji Red Cross,” Mr Nainoca said.

He said a total of 400 cans would be placed around the country.
