MEMBERS of the public are being advised that the Fiji Roads Authority (FRA) would will be carrying out Water Authority of Fiji’s crossing construction on Kings Road from Nakasi to Nausori this Saturday, September 1, 2018.
In a statements issued yesterday the FRA says as a consequence, the main highway from Nakasi to Nausori will be affected on Saturday, September 1 from 9pm to 5am Sunday, September 2, 2018.
FRA said during this time, the following traffic diversion options will be applied to suit the site conditions:
1. Stop and Go traffic control shall be maintained throughout the duration of the works.
2. Members of the public are advised to follow the Stop and Go signs.
“Members of the public are requested to strictly adhere to the traffic management signage in place to ensure the safety of other motorists and workmen alike,” FRA said.
“Travelers along this area are advised to take this notice into account when finalising travel plans.”
