RESEARCH is very critical and people could be limited to what they researched depending on their ability to open up their minds.

Attorney-General and Minister for Economy, Aiyaz Sayed-Khaiyum said this while opening the Pacific People’s Research Skills Symposium at Holiday Inn in Suva earlier today.

University of the South Pacific (USP) Deputy Vice-Chancellor Professor Derrick Armstrong said since USP marked its 50th anniversary this year, they
knew member nations would be very keen to see the results of their research capacity building requests that they mentioned at the start.

The symposium continues tomorrow .
