AFTER 364 games played by 28 teams, the Suva Rugby Union (SRU) Escott Shield and Koroturaga Trophy competitions will go into the elimination rounds this Saturday, August 25, 2018 at ANZ Stadium, Suva.

A tradition that began in 1913 the Escott Shield has been fought over by Suva’s most prominent rugby clubs, the field has been levelled as Suva Rugby’s elite clubs will now go head to head for the coveted silverware.

Last year the Escott Shield made Nasova its home as Police overwhelmed Navy 30-19 in the final.

Final standings in this year’s round of club games competition has seen the PORTS rugby club and Qauia Gold relegated to the Koroturaga grade as RKSOB and Fire-Warden advance into the Escott Shield competition for 2019.

Escott Shield Quarter Finals:

QF1: Police Blue vs Savura, QF2: Covenant Blue vs Nabua, QF3: Navy vs Regent Breakthrough QF4: Army Green vs QVSOB.

Koroturaga:
QF1: Fire-Wardens vs USP Rugby Club, QF2: Nasinu vs Draunivau Sharks, QF3: RKSOB vs Namuka-i-Lau, QF4: Police White vs Army Red.
