THE Sigatoka Hospital will soon have two operating theatres thanks to the contribution and support of the Fiji Hotel and Tourism Association’s Coral Coast Chapter.
Subdivisional Medical Officer Nadroga/Navosa Dr Amos Zibran said funds raised by Coral Coast hoteliers during a charity gold event would result in the renovation of the existing single operating theatre and construction of a second facility.
“We have a very supportive Board of Visitors and we work closely with Coral Coast Hoteliers Association,” Dr Zibran said.
“Their tremendous support and partnership has led to developments like the improved maternity wards, the new helipad and now we will start with the renovation and refurbishing of the operating theatres.”
