THE 20 finalists of the Kaila! Star Search talent competition have completed the first round of competition, which was held last Saturday in Suva.
Singer and FNU student, 20-year-old Atilaite Raikavuka, believes people are capable of performing to the best of their abilities while encouraging others to succeed in their fields.
“I have been singing ever since I was a little girl and at the moment I am the lead singer at the FNU Koronivia campus Christian Fellowship,” Raikavuka said.
“I love what I do and over the years I have grown used to performing in front people.
“I also feel that while it is good to be confident and is always nice to also help those around you realise their potential and work towards it as well.”
Raikavuka said her mother was also part of their church worship team and would help her finetune her singing and techniques.
Demi Lovato is her favourite singer.
