35,000 applications for seasonal work programs

About 6669 workers have gone through the seasonal work program in Australia since 2021 and 5000 are currently there.

Minister for Employment Agni Deo Singh informed Parliament today that 700 workers are in new Zealand and 47 more workers will leave our shores to join them next month.

Mr Singh also informed Parliament that there has been 35,000 pending applications in progress.

“There has been no suspension of the PALM registration, it is still open and we have 35,000 applications in progress and that’s ongoing.”
