2022 General Election: Party manifesto

OUR manifesto represents our record, it outlines our vision and most importantly it speaks to the principals of Fijians who make up this movement.

This was the message from FijiFirst leader Voreqe Bainimarama when he launched the party’s manifesto via a video message on their Facebook page – a strategy used in the 2018 General Election.

In a two-minute video posted on December 7, the FijiFirst leader said “when FijiFirst makes promises it always delivers”.

Mr Bainimarama outlined what his government has achieved in the last eight years.

“To strengthen our recovery, to create better jobs that excite and empower our young population, to transform our society with life-changing technology, to lift up our farmers, to deepen investment, create sustainability in our ocean, in our forests and for our tourism sector,” he said.

“To support the vulnerable and to continue to deliver the real change that changes real lives in Fiji for the better.”

In 64 pages, the manifesto lists the party’s accomplishment over the years and its plans for the economy, education, agriculture, health care and infrastructure.
