2019 Pacific Games: Kaiwalu wins silver for Team Fiji

THE first medal for Team Fiji in athletics was won today by Malakai Kaiwalu in the men’s high jump at Apia Park in Samoa.

Kaiwalu jumped a height of 1.99m to settle for silver along with John Richard of Papua New Guinea.

Mosese Foliaki of Tonga won the gold medal in this event.

The 100m men’s final will be held this evening.
