2019 Pacific Games: Banuve raring to go

FIJI speed king Banuve Tabakaucoro is ready to defend his gold medal and add to team Fiji’s current medal haul at the 2019 Pacific Games in Samoa.

“I’m ready to do my part and make everyone proud and keep the fastest man in the Pacific title here in Fiji,” Tabakaucoro said.

Tabakaucoro was farewelled today at the Digicel Fiji headoffice in Nabua and was presented with a $1000 cheque to aid with the medal defence in Samoa.

The second wave of team Fiji athletes depart this Saturday for Apia, Samoa.
