FIJI’s dream of winning the Rugby World Rugby Sevens title was shattered by New Zealand at the AT & T Park in San Francisco this morning.

The Fijians failed to show their tempo displayed against Argentina in the quarter-finals as the Kiwis ruled the show winning 22-17.

Toulon-based Josua Tuisova and Semi Radradra failed to find an opening after being heavily marked by their oppositions.

Fijian flyer Jo Ravouvou stamped his mark scoring a brace of tries while Dylan Collier and Regan Ware also adding their name to the try scoring sheet.

Fiji’s three tries were scored by Semi Radradra, Amenoni Nasilasila and Alosio Naduva.

The national side will face South Africa in the bronze medal playoff.
