2018 HFC Farebrother, Bainimarama Shield launched in Suva

THE 2018 HFC Bank Farebrother Challenge and HFC Bank Bainimarama Shield Challenge Series were launched at the Albert Park in Suva this evening.

The challenge and the series was launched by the HFC Bank board director, Alipate Naiorosui.

“I am proud to announce that this year also marks the 77th year of the Farebrother Challenge,” Naiorosui said.

“It is the first official Inter-District rugby trophy since 1941 and has grown to become Fiji’s most competitive rugby challenge over the years.”

Suva will challenge the defending champion Namosi on Saturday at 3pm at Thomson Park in Navua.
