2018 General Election: Constitution protects iTaukei land and tenants – Waqainabete

THE Fijian Constitution protects the iTaukei land and tenants on the iTaukei land, says surgeon and Fijifirst party candidate Dr Ifereimi Waqanibete.

He said he believed in equality and this was why he chose to contest the 2018 general election under the FijiFirst party ticket.

He made the above remarks at the party’s campaign meeting going on this hour at Samabula Primary School.

Dr Waqanibete said the FijiFirst party leader was committed to ensuring the protection of the interest of every Fijian.

He also encouraged those present at the meeting to tick the number 688 on November 14.

FijiFirst leader Voreqe Bainimarama’s candidate number is 688.

Hundreds of people are present at the campaign meeting.
