17th Pacific Games | Boletakanakadavu, Tewa qualify for 100m finals

Secondary schools athletics champion, Kesaia Boletakanakadavu has qualified for the women’s 100 meters finals at the Pacific Games.

The two-time Fiji Finals blue ribbon winner who will head on to the finals at 8.30pm tonight, clocked a time of 12.60 seconds in the semi-finals and coming in third place.

Also qualifying for the same event in the men’s division is Waisake Tewa who will be competing at 8.45pm.

The 20-year-old clocked a time of 10.81 seconds in the semi-finals at the Main Stadium last night.

Meanwhile long-distance national reps Vishant Reddy and Sailasa Moala will compete in the men’s 800m finals at 7pm.

In the women’s 800m finals, Fiji will be represented by Lileta Turaga and will be running at 7.15pm.
