A $17million commercial development at Tacirua is set to transform the area, with the project expected to create more than 100 jobs once fully tenanted.
The CBayview development will feature retail and office spaces, 88 car parks, a car wash, taxi base and sheltered outdoor market area.
Present at the groundbreaking ceremony were Minister for iTaukei Affairs Ifereimi Vasu, Great Council of Chiefs chairman Ratu Viliame Seruvakula, landowners and invited guests.
The project is expected to be completed within 18 months.
