A TOTAL of 100 recipients received their share certificates today (June 23) as Energy Fiji Limited Domestic Account Holders.

While presenting the certificates to the recipients at Rups Complex in Nakasi, Acting Prime Minister and Attorney-General, Aiyaz Sayed-Khaiyum said the initiative will empower the ordinary Fijians to be an equal part of a society.

He encouraged Fijians to be a shareholder with Energy Fiji Limited because Government with EFL is opening the market for Fijians to become an industry partner.

“Today you become a shareholder of EFL and I want to encourage you to invest in these shares”, the AG said.

“People that earn more than $30, 000 get 150 shares and people that earn less than 30, 000 get less 250 shares.”
