Industrial action looms at the Fiji Revenue and Customs Service as the union body that represents 350 workers there has declared that they are not happy with the FRCS management.

Fiji Public Service Association Secretary General Judith Kotobalavu has called members to a meeting tomorrow to get a mandate for possible industrial action.

“We have now come to the conclusion that the management is not serious in dealing with the issues which has affected our members for a very long time,” she said.

She said a message has to be passed to management “that we will no longer put up with their delaying tactics”.

“We will also be writing to the board of directors to seek a meeting with them and discuss our grievances directly with them.”

Questions were sent yesterday to FRCS chief executive officer Udit Singh and manager Corporate Communications Devika Narayan.
