A STRONG wind warning remains in force for land areas of Southern Lau Group.
The weather bulletin issued from the National Weather Forecasting Centre in Nadi this afternoon says a low pressure system over Southern Lau waters directs strong winds over Southern Lau.
The associated trough of low pressure with associated cloud and showers affects Kadavu and nearby smaller islands, Lau and Lomaiviti group, the interior and eastern parts of Viti Levu.
The forecast to midnight tomorrow for the Fiji group expect strong clockwise winds with average speeds up to 45km/hr with winds gradually easing to moderate to fresh today, rough seas and cloudy periods with some showers for Southern Lau group.
