A SHALLOW low pressure system embedded along a trough of low pressure remains slow moving over the southern parts of the country.

The forecast to midnight tomorrow for the Fiji group expect cloudy periods with some showers over the Southern Lau group.

Fine apart from brief showers over the eastern parts and the interior of the larger islands.

Mostly fine elsewhere with isolated afternoon or evening showers possible.

Moderate east to southeast winds, fresh at times and moderate to rough seas.
