Five people have been confirmed dead following a tragic house fire in the early hours of this morning at Baulevu Rd, Nausori.
The victims have been identified as Shivam Singh, his wife Priya Lal, their three-year-old daughter Akriti Singh, and his parents, Satish Chand and Anita Devi.
Police said the family was inside the home when the fire broke out at around 12.30am.
Police forensic officers, Criminal Investigations Department (CID) personnel and National Fire Authority teams were at the scene, working to retrieve the bodies and establish the cause of the blaze.
Investigations into the cause of the fire are ongoing.
