USP Lautoka campus to host inaugural open day

Listen to this article:

STUDENTS preparing to leave high school and those who are wishing to upgrade their academic skills are being urged to attend the University of the South Pacific (USP) Lautoka Campus’ Open Day event at the Campus this Friday, July 27.

Campus director Dr Pramila Devi said the event would be even more special this year for two reasons – firstly, it coincides with USP’s 50th anniversary, which the Campus celebrated earlier this month, and secondly, the event will be held on campus for the first time ever with a bigger range of displays.

Dr Devi said more than 25 schools from across the Western Division are expected to attend the event.

She said the open day offered a great opportunity for students, prospective students and also those working and intending to upgrade their qualifications and skills or pursue further education and to explore learning options available at USP and Lautoka Campus.
