Billion- Dollar company FIJI Water held a mediation earlier today with the National Union of Workers(NUW) general secretary Felix Anthony and union representatives of the company at the Tanoa Waterfront Hotel in Lautoka.

FIJI Water executive vice president Craig Cooper was present along with other executives discussing issues raised by the workers that went on strike on May 6 at the Yaqara factory in Ra and Naikabula container yard in Lautoka.

Members of the media waited from 10am this morning to get comments from the union general secretary Mr Anthony and  FIJI Water executive vice president Craig Cooper, however, they were unsuccessful as a representative from FIJI Water informed them at about 7pm this evening that there will be no interviews as the mediation will continue tomorrow at 9am.

The Ministry of  Employment, Productivity and Industrial Relations had appointed former Employment Tribunal Magistrate Andrew See as the mediator.
