Two more suspects have been taken into Police custody in connection with the aggravated robbery of a taxi driver in Nadi that was captured on a dash camera and went viral on social media.
Their arrests bring the number of suspects in custody to three, while the Western Division Taskforce continues to search for a fourth suspect whose identity is known to Police.
The incident occurred at around 8am yesterday and was captured by the taxi’s dash camera.
Footage of the incident, which subsequently went viral, showed the taxi driver pleading for his life during the alleged attack.
A 23-year-old man became the first suspect to be taken into custody after handing himself over to Police yesterday evening.
He was taken to the Lautoka Police Station for questioning.
Investigations into the alleged aggravated robbery continue.
