Longtime State lawyer Nancy Tikoisuva has been appointed Acting Director of Public Prosecutions.
This was confirmed by the ODPP in a statement this evening.
Ms Tikoisuva said she looked forward to this new journey and has encouraged the staff to continue to strive for excellence
The new ADPP replaces John Rabuku who was removed from the role following a Supreme Court ruling that found him ineligible for the role.
Mr Rabuku was handed his letter of revocation by President Ratu Wiliame Katonivere earlier this week.
