YOUTH in Navosa are gaining practical tie-dye skills through a two-day training program aimed at helping them create products and explore small business opportunities.
The training is being held as part of activities leading up to the Navosa Youth and Sports Festival, which will be held today and tomorrow at Vatureba Grounds in Navosa.
Participants are learning hands-on techniques for producing tie-dye products, with the skills intended to help them develop creative and entrepreneurial opportunities within their communities.
The initiative also aims to strengthen skills of rural youth and encourage greater economic participation by providing practical knowledge that can be applied to small-scale income generating activities.
The training forms part of wider efforts to provide young people with opportunities to develop skills that can support their livelihoods and contribute to their communities.
