Suva’s win on Friday night against Lautoka keeps the side on track to make another bid for the Skipper Cup competition title this season.
Union manager Nemani Tuifagalele while commending the performance of the Capital City boys said the aim this season was slowly making its way.
“We are still leading the points standing and after this game we able to collect four points and it is likely for us to cement our position as the top team,” he said.
“Suva’s points will be 47 and the side too is likely to book a home semi-final which is a boost for us.
“We will be going back to our training ground and work on the loopholes we see and prepare to face Namosi in the final round.”
He said they beat Namosi twice this year but they would not take the game lightly.
He said the union gave its blessing to Serupepeli Vularika for reclaiming his spot again in the Flying Fijians squad.
