THE National Federation Party says growing public support across Fiji is proof that more people are placing their trust in principled leadership, inclusive governance and practical policies focused on ordinary citizens.

Speaking at the NFP’s Rewa branch meeting at the Vunimono High School in Nausori on Saturday, party leader Professor Biman Prasad said they were steadily growing into a much larger political force ahead of the next general election.

Prof Prasad told members and supporters that although NFP was part of a three-party Coalition Government, it had continued to stand firmly on issues of national importance and policy direction.

He said Government remained focused on restoring trust in public institutions, improving transparency and ensuring economic growth benefited working families, farmers, youths and vulnerable communities.

Prof Prasad also urged supporters not to be distracted by misinformation, fake social media attacks and politically motivated bloggers, saying the party remained committed to delivering practical results for the country.

He said high turn out at branch meetings in Rewa, Tavua and Rakiraki reflected increasing public confidence in the party’s vision for a united and prosperous Fiji.
