FIJI Bati winger, Maika Sivo is set to take his talents to the English Super League, signing a three-year deal with Leeds Rhinos.

Known for his incredible power and try-scoring ability, Sivo’s move marks a new chapter for the Nadroga native, who leaves the NRL after six standout seasons with the Parramatta Eels.

Growing up in the village of Momi in Nadroga, Sivo’s journey to rugby league stardom has been one of hard work and dedication.

From his early days playing village rugby in Fiji, to his debut with Parramatta in 2019, Sivo has remained true to his roots.

Sivo’s new role with the Rhinos brings him back together with former coach Brad Arthur, who played a key role in developing his skills at the Eels. Arthur, now Leeds’ head coach, expressed his excitement at Sivo’s arrival.

“I know he’ll make his mark here in Leeds just like he did in Australia.

“Maika is a proven try scorer, and he will bring strike to our back line.”

Leeds Rhinos fans are eagerly anticipating Sivo’s arrival.
