THE Police Blue rugby team have a busy week ahead of them as they gear up for the Suva Rugby Union Escott Shield Challenge against Covenant Brothers tomorrow (June 23).

Preparing as a team for two different competitions, head coach Solo Nute said they had sacrificed their time with their loved ones to accomplish their mission.

“We played Police North last Wednesday for the Commissioners Cup, we will be challenging Covenant for the Escott Shield on Saturday and we will again defend the Commissioners silverware next Wednesday against Western Police, so the boys know the difficult task ahead but they’ve been progressing as they play along,” Nute said.

Police Blue will take on Covenant Brothers tomorrow at 3pm at Bidesi Park.
