The Fiji Police Force says investigations into the death of Jone Vakarisi remain ongoing, with support from the Republic of Fiji Military Forces (RFMF).
Police said investigators from the Criminal Investigations Department are working closely with RFMF officials to gather key statements and relevant information relating to the case.
Police acknowledged the assistance provided by RFMF Commander Jone Kalouniwai, thanking him for the cooperation and support extended to the investigating team.
Authorities say further updates on the progress of the investigation will be provided in due course.
