POLICE have confirmed the discovery of a partially decomposed body at Saweni in Lautoka yesterday morning.
It is understood that Shamsad Begum who was in her 60s resided in the area.
Her relatives had reported her missing last month.
Police spokesperson Wame Bautolu said further details would be released once investigations were completed.
A relative said her body was found behind a neighbour’s house.
Attempts to get further comments from the relative proved futile.
