Staff members from the iTaukei Land Trust Board planted trees in Nadarivatu last week to support the 30 Million Trees in 15 years initiative by Government.

The staff members were from TLTB’s north west region and sub region offices in Ba and Rakiraki.

“Staff members planted trees over the weekend as a way to contribute to the ongoing fight against climate change,” said TLTB in a social media post.

“They planted 1050 seedlings (vesi, tamarine and pine) at Naga Village in Nadarivatu last Saturday along with our West team.

“The planting activity is part of their corporate social responsibility and supporting Fiji’s landscape restoration programme.

“TLTB is working closely with the Fiji Forestry, provincial offices and landowners around the country in support of this Government initiative. #30MT15Y.”
