The Fiji Police Force will now provide better services to the public following the commissioning of the new boat “Krishna” this week by the Acting Deputy Commissioner of Police Itendra Nair.

The boat will be based at the Waterpol Unit at Labasa and will be used in operation activities in the Northern Division.

The old boat has been given a new look and a new name after some much-needed maintenance, conversion, re-modernized, and a new coat of paint.

The boat came out of the shed good as new.

It was slightly bigger, more spacious, and faster.
