NAUSORI will find out later tonight who will represent the town as Miss Vodafone Tebara 2016 to the Miss Fiji pageant later this year.
Festival committee chairperson Shainaaz Ali said the week-long event was a success because it brought together families from various parts of the community.
“Every year we take pride in our carnival and this year the response from the public has been nothing but positive and we can see the pride that people have in our town,” Ms Ali said.
“On Thursday was iTaukei night and it drew the largest crowd that we have seen and these were Fijians of different ethnicities, but it was inspiring to see everyone united.”
A special awards ceremony was held last night.
