Assistant Minister for Public Works, Meteorological Services and Transport Naisa Tuinaceva officially launched the National Water Resources Management and Sanitation Policy and the Fiji Integrated Water Resources Management Plan in Suva on Tuesday.
WAF delegates, senior government officials, development partners and other key stakeholders attended the event.
The launch also marked the release of Fiji’s first National Rural Water Point Mapping Survey Report.
The new policy and 10-year plan aims to strengthen the sustainable management of the country’s water resources and sanitation services.
