“We give back praises to God.
“Coming to our last round-robin match, our aim was to pile up our points. We are grateful the girls worked well.
“We wanted to come here and get more points,” Seru said.
Nadi dominated the match from the opening whistle, scoring 10 tries in the first half to establish a 60-0 lead at halftime.

Kabulevu and Arei contributed to the successful conversions as Nadi continued to extend their lead.
The match was stopped by match commissioner Joeli Kautoga in the 60th minute, with the score at 100-0, on player safety and welfare grounds.
Seru said the team would now turn its attention to preparing for the quarter-finals.
She was grateful for the players’ efforts and the way they worked together to deliver the emphatic victory.
The win gives Nadi a strong finish to the round-robin phase as they look ahead to the knockout stages.
