Defending Farebrother Trophy champions Naitasiri are gearing up for a spirited challenge this afternoon as they take on Malolo in their opening match of the 2025 Inkk Farebrother Challenge.
With high stakes and regional pride on the line, Naitasiri is urging its loyal supporters to turn up in numbers to back the team, which represents 16 tikinas and 98 villages.
Malolo, making their debut in the competition after a strong campaign in the Vanua Championship, are expected to bring a tough fight.
Despite preparation setbacks—including limited access to home grounds—Naitasiri’s coaching director Ilaitia Tuisese says the side is ready.
“It’s not going to be easy, but we’re up for it,” he said. Kick-off is set for this afternoon.
