FIJI’S Minister for Industry, Trade and Tourism Faiyaz Koya reiterated Government’s vision for a modern and inclusive economy at the launch of the 2018 Prime Minister’s International Business Awards at the Grand Pacific Hotel in Suva last night.

Mr Koya said the five-year and 20-year National Development Plan (NDP) would help map out the way forward for Fiji to realise its full potential as a nation.

“In this regard, the Fijian Government has continued to develop and implement policies that will enable the transformation. The 2018-2019 national budget continues the pro-business, sustainable and consistent policies of the FijiFirst Government of providing targeted support to Fijians and Fijian businesses,” he said.

“It is also encouraging to see the continued support that the awards has been receiving from the private sector.”

Mr Koya said the IBA recognised and rewarded the best businesses, empowering the corporate world to excel.
