MISS Grace Roads, Keren Koroi, has apparently taken out the People’s Choice Award after receiving about 7,900 votes online.
Ms Koroi received strong support from Navua, with supporters sharing and liking her posts in large numbers ahead of the announcement.
The 21-year-old has strong ties to the town, having lived in Navua since her primary school days at J.N. Jokhan Memorial Primary School.
She later attended Vashist Muni College, where she served as head girl in 2023.
Coming in a close second was Miss MHCC & Carpenters Tower, Sala Korosaya, who received about 7,700 votes and 635 shares.
The People’s Choice result was announced as members of the public turned out in numbers along central Suva despite gloomy weather to witness the Hibiscus float procession at 11am today.
