A 40-year-old man who is alleged to have raped and sexually assaulted his 15-year-old stepdaughter had his bail extended by the High Court in Suva today.
He is charged with six counts of rape and two counts of sexual assault.
State lawyer Sheenal Swastika told the court that the prosecution was ready for the trial.
The alleged incidents took place between 2014 and 2018 in Nausori.
The trial date has been fixed from July 20, 2020, for four days.
The matter has been adjourned to July 15, 2020.
