The Fiji National Provident Fund (FNPF) has noted an increase in migration withdrawals.

“In 2022, we paid out $42.9m,” he said.

“The increase in migration withdrawals basically shows the movement of our people abroad for better prospects.”

He said overall withdrawals dropped by 6 per cent.

“A total of $441m was paid to 52,375 members.

“Full withdrawals totaled $329.8m.

“Of this amount, $189.7m was for retirement.”
