Fijians will enjoy lower fuel and cooking gas prices from tomorrow, with new government-approved prices taking effect on 1 July 2026, delivering relief to households, motorists and businesses.

The largest reduction is for diesel, which drops by $1.19 per litre, from $4.58 to $3.39.

Motor spirit (VIP) will decrease by 49 cents per litre, falling from $3.93 to $3.44, while kerosene (VAT exempt) will be reduced by 42 cents per litre, from $3.13 to $2.71.

The price of premix remains unchanged at $3.27 per litre.

Consumers using liquefied petroleum gas (LPG) will also benefit from lower prices across all major products.

The price of a 4.5kg LPG cylinder will fall by 31 cents, from $17.48 to $17.17, while a 12kg cylinder will be 80 cents cheaper, decreasing from $46.60 to $45.80.

Bulk LPG will drop by 7 cents per kilogram, from $3.60 to $3.53, and autogas will decrease by 4 cents per litre, from $2.47 to $2.43.

The revised prices come into effect on 1 July 2026, reflecting lower international fuel costs and providing welcome cost-of-living relief after months of high global energy prices.
