FNPF makes early payments for pensioners; waives renewal certificates

The Fiji National Provident Fund has made an early payment for pensioners whose payments were due tomorrow – Friday, May 14.

FNPF acting chief executive officer Viliame Vodonaivalu said the payment was made yesterday, amounting to $1.6million for the 5502 pensioners.

He said the Fund had also extended the waiver of pension renewal certificates due in June.

“Pension payments will continue to be processed and paid based on the presumption of life,” Mr Vodonaivalu said.

“These are our delicate members and we will strive to make things as convenient as possible for our pensioners,” he said.
