Radisson Blu Resort Fiji, Denarau Island recently won two of the six major accolades presented across the Asia Pacific region at the Radisson Hotel Group Annual General Manager’s Conference at the Radisson Hotel Chateau de Bangkok from June 9 to 11.

In a statement, Radisson Blu Resort Fiji confirmed it received the Hotel of the Year 2025 award, recognising its outstanding overall performance and the Best Profit Growth 2025 award for delivering exceptional commercial results during the year.

“Adding to this remarkable achievement, the resort was also named a finalist in two highly competitive categories – Responsible Business and Sustainability and General Manager of the Year – further highlighting its commitment to environmental stewardship, community engagement, and leadership excellence,” it stated.

“The awards place Radisson Blu Resort Fiji among the top-performing hotels within the Radisson Hotel Group’s extensive Asia Pacific portfolio and acknowledge the resort’s continued focus on operational excellence, guest satisfaction, financial performance, and responsible business practices.”

Resort general manager Charles Homsy said the recognition was a defining moment for them and represented a historic achievement for the resort and “is undoubtedly one of the most significant recognitions received since the property opened”.

“To be acknowledged among Radisson Hotel Group properties across the Asia Pacific region is a remarkable accomplishment and a testament to the dedication, passion and commitment of our entire team,” Mr Homsy said.

He said each department had played an important role in achieving this success.

“These awards recognise not only our strong financial performance and operational excellence, but also our commitment to delivering exceptional guest experiences, supporting our people, and operating responsibly within our community.

“We remain focused on continuous improvement and ensuring that every guest enjoys memorable experiences while staying with us.”

Mr Homsy also commended the support of the resort’s board of directors, past and present, owners, corporate partners, travel industry stakeholders, suppliers, and the tourism sector.
